Assistant Professor of English
The University of Mary invites applications for a faculty position in English to begin Fall 2019, pending final approval. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and rank. A Ph.D. is required by time of employment. Candidates must be able to show an ability to teach a wide range of introductory composition, literature, and rhetoric courses. Areas of specialization may include American literature, composition, or creative writing. Candidates should also have some familiarity with the larger Christian intellectual tradition.
Applicants should also excel in teaching at the undergraduate level and be able to teach broadly among the various areas of English while having an active research agenda.
