Coordinator of Enrollment and Partnerships

The Coordinator of Enrollment and Partnerships manages graduate enrollment for an assigned school within the University of Mary, with a primary responsibility of recruiting students to meet that school’s enrollment goals. The Coordinator assists with developing partnerships and works to maintain and grow those partnerships.  The Coordinator of Enrollment and Partnerships also may provide advising to students within the assigned programs.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruits qualified prospective students and applicants for admission and enrollment within an assigned territory. Ensures each admitted student receives personal verbal and written communication, which may include extensive telephone in person, and email contact.  Records a summary of each contact with the Hobson’s system.  Assists prospective students to complete the application process and degree plan completion and supports other departments as necessary to meet the student needs
  • Assist with developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with new and existing businesses and other organizations as assigned and within a market segment or geographic region with the primary goal of enrollment
  • Assist with inquiry generation strategy and implementation
  • Meets with prospective and current students at campus locations (when appropriate), and via distance through technology
  • Attends and actively participates in admission staff meetings, training programs, and planning retreats
  • Provides input regarding the development of department goals and strategic plan
  • Plans and conducts recruitment events
  • Demonstrates adequate knowledge in all academic and non-academic offerings, program delivery methods, and admission standards and other duties as assigned at the discretion of the supervisors
  • Commitment to on-going knowledge base acquisition of the University. Stays current regarding federal and state regulations and guidelines.  Maintain professional memberships and associations

Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Four years of sales and/or business to business marketing experience required
  • Healthcare experience desired
  • Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
  • Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
  • Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the office of Enrollment Management and throughout the university in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Experience presenting in front of large groups
  • Experience with establishing and maintaining client/prospect relationships throughout the community
  • Experience creating progress reports and developing presentations for various audiences
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Able to work independently and with a team of colleagues
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently with flexible schedules and travel throughout western North Dakota
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
